It combines standard CBT techniques for emotional regulation and reality-testing with concepts of mindfulness, distress tolerance, acceptance, and interpersonal effectiveness.

  • This therapy is based on the premise that where you look affects how you feel. It utilizes the client’s field of vision to find spots that help access unprocessed trauma in the subcortical brain. By maintaining eye position and using bilateral stimulation, like sound, therapists can help clients process these traumas.
